The project directly targets new civic movements and forms of active citizenship and correlates them with the main debates at EU level: how to diminish the gap between EU institutions and youths, mitigate the dynamics of populism and Euroscepticism and increase civic and political engagement with a direct effect on the EU elections of 2019.
One of the activities envisaged by this project is represented by European Story-telling – ‘My EU Future’ 16 video stories, published on an online platform in English, from young people who are active in the civic movements and new forms of active citizenship. This innovative platform is meant to empower them in articulating views, debating policies and providing expertise to the EU decision-makers.
There will be 4 videos from Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Germany, respectively, which are to be posted on this website and on europeanheroes.eu.
